70 HP VRO Model year?

Hi,
Just bought the subject engine and it's working well but I'm trying to determine the age. The data plate on the mount is missing but the frost plug (trick I learned from this forum!) says C7205055. Can anyone confirm the year or specific model?

PS I am reasonably confident it was not stolen as I have confirmed the prev owner operated this engine for 20 yrs. This comes from his mechanic who during that time rebuilt the power head twice and the leg too many times to remember, which probably explains the missing data plate.

can you check another freeze plug.

Had a look but can't find anything like the one on top? Where else should I look.
My guess is early eighties by the cover, is that close, since I'm only looking for a manual and impeller kit as long as I'm close I can go from there. One other note, the mechanic I spoke to said the last time the power head was re-done an Evinrude 65 was put on if that makes any difference.
