i have a 1992 force 70hp outboard. i replaced the impeller and gasket about 2 months ago, the problem is after i did the thermostat and gasket the pee hole had great pressure the more i used the motor the lesser the pressure, now it is hardly visible at all. the alarm has yet to go off and i know that the motor shoots cooling water out above the prop. should i be worried about it?? i dont want to have to call the coasties to come give me a tow..

Re: 70hp cooling problem

bug.
Your tell tell has a very small hole that likes to clog up with debris, remove the hose off the fitting and blow out the fitting with compressed air and make sure the hose is clear to the block. you can check this by blowing on it with your mouth. If your tell tell is not clogged you need to find the problem before you burn up your motor. good luck, bret

If you need further assistance please email me @ forcepower01@yahoo.com. thanks,Bret
