Howdy, Birdman.

I think it is more likely that there is a loose connection somewhere in your ignition system or a bit of trash floating around in your fuel filter that temporarity blocked the outlet or the fuel pump.

Check your tank and filter for any water or bits of trash.

Red sky at night. . .
JB :)

70hp evinrude

While running my 70hp evinrude recently at 3/4 throttle It stopped suddenly for no reason. It started right away without any more problems. The motor was recently rebuilt and I wonder if this could somehow br related. It also has a brandnew powerpack. Could this be a sign of weak or old coils? Could bad coils have caused the powerpack to go bad?It is a 1976 model. Thanks for any help.
