70hp johnson

I have 1983 70hp johnson inline three cyl I am looseing spark to the bottom cylinder. A little history on the motor at the start of the summer all of these things where done.carbs rebuilt, new impeller,new gas tank and hoses. When this problem started i lost the tach first I replaced the rectifer and my battery is chargeing again but still no tach or spark to bottom cylinder.when this first started it kick on and run fine then just shut off. I have a shop manual but iam confussed on how to perform some of the tests. I think it is a coil or powerpack causeing the problem. I do not no how to get the pulg apart to swap coils any help would greatly be apperacated, sorry for the long post thanks

You are on the right track. I do not understand "I do not no how to get the pulg apart to swap coils".<br /><br />Pull the plug wire from two plugs - swap the coils & give it a try.
