I have a late 70s suzuki that seems to start up decent. but every once in a while is will spit pretty bad. Sometimes it will cause the motor to shut off. Is there any easy way to fix this? I changed the spark plugs, and am running sea foam through the gas.

Seems like you are referring to the "lean sneeze" this is a normal thing with the old suzuki's especially when they are still cold .... you can lightly the the air/fuel mix screws on the carbs but I would not worry much about it ...
