My 71 1350 starts hard and bogs on exceleration. If I choke it for about a second I can run full throttle. Idle is good and it run fine at higher RMP ranges. It will stall going into gear after warmed up, and I have to reprime the fuel bulb to get it started.
Is this Fuel Pump related????

Thanks Folks

All of the Mercury inlines can be hard to start! you just about have to flood them to start!
And the bog could be Just need tune up. And or carb adjustment. Tim

The fact that you have to reprime the fuel bulb may indicate that the problem is locatet in the fuel line / primer bulb or the tank may not be properly vented. Or you may have something partially blocking the intake of your tank.
It may also be time for a fuel pump rebuild, but my bet is on the line / tank.

-M-
