I bought a 9.5 sea horse yesterday for 200.00 owner said motor ran. well brought it home pulled plugs sprayed lube in cylinders primed carb it started ran 1/2 min. then died I cant start it again. carb is varnished, i do have spark so I went and bought a carb kit, a seloc book and a impeller my problem is the book isnt a great book who makes a user friendly book? the parts I purchased seemed expensive where can I find parts? I am scared I am gonna put too much money in motor how much could I get in it until I have to much in it thanks, Jim p.s. I have never worked on a boat motor
