72' Evinrude 50 hp elec. shift

I need a lower unit for this boat, I found a early 70's 55 hp lower unit off a evinrude elec. shift would this work?

Make sure it's from a twin. 3-cyl electric gearcases use different driveshaft splines. I believe there were short and longshaft models, so make sure they're the same.
