First time winterizing a boat. Just curious to know what everyone recomends. I assume just drain oil and leave off oil screws, as well as removing gas and running until engine dies?

First, run the motor and fog it with a good fogging oil till it dies or smokes like crazy. THEN, as for me, I drain the fuel system completely, or you can use one of the fuel preservatives before doing the fogging operation and leave the fuel in. Advantage in draining it is just in case it doesn't get used next season for some unfortunate reason.

Drain and refill the lower unit with correct oil. Don't leave it empty.

If it was last used in salt water, do the fogging operation on muffs and fresh water hose. Also wash down the exterior.
