Thank you Bondo, don't think it would help it is under where it cant me reached with out a long extension with 2 people. Going to try that today. But it seems to me that pulling the engine looks pretty simple and might be a good idea to go over everything. It has a Ford 302 with Merc outdrive any ideas?
Good news Bondo, got the bolt with 2 people and a 2' socket extension got that little bugger. But good to know about pulling the motor I would not of thought of that. Thank you
Been doing a complete remodel on this boat that's been sitting for 10 years. Today going to fire it up and try out the outdrive(couldn't do it before stuck cable). My question is on a Merc outdrive should I do something or check something before putting it in gear for the first time in 10 years? Thank you
