Hey everyone.

Have a hole that developed on the top of my manifold and now water Boils out of it.
Is there an easy fix for this, or am i better off getting a new manifold?

If so; can someone help with the proper manifold or part number I need?

1972 mercruiser 165, I/O inline 6, GM Block.

I can tell you from experience that these manifolds are becoming harder to find, and more expensive when you do find one. Many of the major parts warehouses list parts for these engines as NLA(NoLongerAvailable). The merchant of last choice...because there isn't another alternative is of course Flea-Bay. I've had to use it to find parts for mine...ask questions and request better photos if necessary. I've had good luck so far...but caveat emptor.

Oh...stay FAR away from any manifold used in salt water.

Ok I've got a couple pictures here.
The hole seems to be rust related and has appeared on the top of the manifold. When the water comes up, it comes to a boil then is smoking off. I've got a little bit of smoke coming from the valve cover vent but that's probably blow by on a cylinder which i have not had enough time to investigate yet. But if i need to replace this manifold, I need to do it asap before this thing is obsolete I guess.

I think without removing it, all we can do is guess...
It'll need to be pulled regardless. Although not a proponent of the "quick fix" via JBWeld in most cases...in THIS case, it MAY be a viable option if it's just a small fracture. It may work and save you $$$, it may not, and you'll end up replacing it anyhow.

except for the fact there isn`t any water in that part of the manifold. you may be seeing water from a leaking head gasket
