Hey everyone. I just wanted to say hello and to tell you that I picked up a 72 Wildcat as a project. The boat is solid, but in need of a lot of cosmetic work. The previous owner put in a new floor and carpet, and as far as I can tell the stringers and transom appear to be in good shape. There is evidence of the cap being pulled and the transom being replaced at some point. Anyway, the plan right now is to get the boat going and to use it for the rest of the season this year,and maybe through next season as well, and then do a full resto. It is an outboard model, and it came without a motor but I have a 115 hp Merc that will be going on it soon. It's been raining all week so I don't have any pictures yet, but will put some up as soon as it dries out.
