On a recent fishing trip to Canada, my '73 Evinrude's (25352 AE) low idle fuel mix knob linkage came apart and the adjustment screw backed out. Before I realized it I fouled my plugs. I got the adjustment back to where I thought it belonged, replaced the plugs, and it ran fine for a week. Now it won't idle. It's always idled kinda rough, but now it won't idle at all. The primer bulb goes soft and it dies. The only way to keep it running is to keep squeezing the primer bulb. I don't think there's a problem with the fuel punp because it runs great at high speeds. Do I have a carb issue? Fuel line issue? Is the idle adjustment still not right? Any help would be appreciated.
