73 Chrysler Outboard

I was just given a 73 gator boat with a 73 70hp chrysler motor. I took it to the river the other day and when I returned, I noticed Oil and water mixed, coming from the small hole just below the vent screw on the lower part of the motor. I don't know anything about this motor so if someone could help, Please do.<br />Thanks

Hi,<br />Generally it is unburnt oil draining down the inside of your exhaust housing. It is usually gray<br />to darker brown in color with a kind of foamy appearance. It is normal,but check your lower unit lube to be on the safe side.<br />...have fun...corm
