One of the best examples of why one shouldn't mess with outboards without a manual, Chaser.

It can be done. You will need plenty of patience, heavy gloves, safety eyewear and a sailor's vocabulary. Send the women and children to McDonalds.

Hook the inside end to its pin. Put the pulley partly on and begin to wind it in from the outside. (Pause for multiple tries and outbursts of bad language). As the outside end goes into the spring chamber, slip it onto its pin.

Viola!! Easy wasn't it?? No hitting!! HELP!!
