First i noticed water in the oil then gear oil coming from under the prop. I am considering changing the lower unit seals and impeller myself.The nicer outboard repair shops don't want to work on anything over 15yrs old, and the other guy wouldnt quote a price ( been down that road before $$) I ordered a clymer and seloc repair manual, also in the process of ordering the gear puller to make life easier. Is there any other special tools required? Also what all seals should I order? I don't want to get it torn down and have to wait on parts I should have ordered. Also is there anything else that should be replaced while I'm at it? This will be my first time working on a lower unit, any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
