'74 115hp Johnson

I just bought a 1974 Johnson outboard that is in pretty good shape, but I understand that johnson pruduced a smaller bore motor somewhere in that era that cannot be rebuilt due to the availibility of the smaller pistons. Does anyone know anything about this?

Hey Bubb,<br /><br />Welcome. I'm a little fuzzy on this one but, I believe the 85 hp. was 89 cid and the rest were 99.6 cid. All v-4 (crossflows) went to 99.6 cid when the 85 was increased to 90.
