'74 Johnson 50hp Outboard have alternator?

I was just curious if this outboard has an alternator? How can I tell?

Parts diagram shows a stator and rectifier so yes.

Sure it has an alternator. To test, clip a voltmeter (multimeter) to the battery and note the voltage. Then run the motor for a while. The voltage should increase as the battery takes a charge. If it does, all is well.
