Can anybody tell me what year my motor was manufactured, and what are the correct spark plugs to use in it? Model number is T750H9A and serial number is 1195. The motor runs very well once she is warm, but can be difficult to start from cold. There is very little information on these motors here in Zimbabwe, but I am determined to keep her as original as possible. The motor is mounted on a light 14' 6" fibreglass fishing boat, and can still keep up with a lot of my fishing buddies with their newer outfits. Most of our fishing is done on the Zambesi river or lake Kariba, so a reliable runner is very important. Thanks in advance to anyone who can assist.

Thanks for the site Grizzly, it is a good one. I still cannot find what I am looking for though. A lot of sites offer choices of plugs depending on the age of the motor and/or the ignition system. I need to know what year the motor was made -- any other suggestions?<br /> Thank you for your help so far, Zimbo

Many thanks for your help, now I can treat my motor to the proper plugs at least! She may be old, but theres plenty of life in the old girl yet. The motor looks as if it has never even been opened -- paint is orig. as is wiring according to the colour code decal on the block.I am sure that this forum is going to be a real life saver in time to come, and it is really great to have such a huge base of interesting topics to browse through. Thanks again for your input.
