Motor runs ok with occassional miss.Has signs of water on the plugs right after running.I checked the gas tank and installed a new head gasket+torqued(replaced original). When I remove a plug and slap it on my hand I still see (noticeable) water droplets.I also noticed while the motor was running that water was dribbling down the shift(rod) shaft(exiting externally). Is this normal?Any ideas as to where the water may be getting into the cylinders

RA....check the exhaust cover gasket. These can blow and squirt water into the cylinder. Yeah I know. Pain in tha' patut. But other than a cracked cylinder, I don't know where water can infiltrate (neat word) the cylinder other than the head gasket and exhaust cover gasket.

Thanks OBJ,
I'm in the process of removing the exhaust cover but cannot remove the bottom right bolt holding the cover. There's just not enough clearance between the bolt head and the lower cowling.I'm getting a manual ;) but in the meanwhile does anyone know how to get this last bolt out without going insane in the process?

Thanks for your reply machinist,
With the info on that site I was able to remove the bolt without removing the powerhead.I drilled a hole in the cowling opposite the bolt head. This gave enough clearance to back it out.I did not cherish the thought of removing the powerhead for 1 bolt, lol. :) A rubber plug or bondo/paint will take care of the hole.
