'75 Merc 20 Hp: I'm not good enought to fix it so I want to sell it

The motor is in pretty nice condition, but it just does not want to run at slow speed and idle. I am a shade tree mechanic and just don't seem to have the expertise to fix it my self, so am going to sell it.

That shouldn't be hard to fix, Bob.

Get a Service Manual and the Mercsperts here can have her humming pretty easily.

Maybe the carb could do with a clean out... You may find that it's got some dirt in it...
