Re: 75 merc 850 Trim&Tilt??????????
I don't know about the craigslist deal, don't shop there because i've heard too many horror stories. Wally, you need to purchase a manual for your motor (some people swear by the Mercury manual) but a Seloc manual is pretty good too...I have a Seloc and Merc manual and find both to be good, infact the old Merc manuals doesn't show the wiring schematics which you need. The reason you need the manual is so you can learn the parts and what they look like plus you'll have reference for bleeding and so on. Your motor will take the Type A system but its just too hard to start describing individual parts. Spend the money for a manual so you don't make costly mistakes buying the wrong parts...I can give you some tips on certain things to watch for and questions you should ask the seller before buying. I'll follow your thread to see how your doing.
