75hp Chrysler water pump

Have an older 75hp needs new pump. The book I have is less than informitive about how to replace it. It's a 2 piece housing, gets a little water out, runs great! Any one know how to start?

hi mate if there is one thing i have learned from the guys on here its NEVER touch ur motor without that book beside u. i searched high and low for a chrysler 50ph manual here in austsralia all i could get was a generic one that was hopless untill i found this site for a small cost u can download the full factory workshop manual give it a go<br /><br />

Hey,<br /><br />I am currently working on a older 75HP Chrysler and replacing the water pump. So are you wondering just how to get to it .... or do you have any of it taken appart ?<br /><br />I found a book on it at my local library ... this is a good place for boat repair manuels. So you might try that.<br /><br />I can take some pics if you want me to ... while I have it all appart. Just let me know.
