I had no spark and found that i needed a new CDI. I replaced the CDI with a new one from CDI electronics and the motor fired right up as normal and operated great like it did before the CDI went bad. As it was idling after about 30 seconds the motor just cut off and i expected to see that i lost spark again but that wasnt the case, i also made sure that the fuel was getting to the engine and it was and i tried spraying starting fluid in the intake as well and still not even a sputter. My battery is brand new and has a charge around 13 volts and my compression is around 155-160 in each cylinder.
At this point im at a complete loss of ideas as to why this thing wont even try to run. The only times ive ever seen an engine cut off without sputtering was due to running out of fuel and a loss of spark. Is there something im missing?

You have compression, fuel and spark and no start? The only reason I can think of is timing being off. No need to disassemble the flywheel yet, instead validate #1 cylinder with the flywheel TDC marking. If it aligns, then double check your spark and fuel. If both are present, then remove the carb's intake cover and have someone crank it over while you spray fuel oil mix into the carbs. Watch for fuel blow back from the mouth of the carbs which will indicate a faulty reed.

Sounds like you may not be getting a good enough spark. When you say you replaced the CDI, what exactly do you mean by that? The 75HP motors were made from 1996 - 1999 and have the 3 modular CDM coil packs. If that is what you replaced, then I would check the stator resistance between the Green/White and White/Green stator wires. Disconnect them and you should see 500- 700 Ohms resistance.

Make sure that the 6 magnets under the inner circumference of the fly wheel are all in place and intact. If one or two come off, then the stator will not produce good voltage to fire the CDM modules properly.

Please what typ of engine do we talking about?
75Hp Chrysler or 75Hp Force?
They are way different in ignition systems and the carb/carbs..
Distributor with drivbelt Motorola system, Prestolite system or Mercury ignition?
Chrysler 75Hp has three carbs, Force 75Hp has one.

Check the flywheel key?
How much torque on the flywheel nut?
Needs to be on the later Force using the Mercury ignition about 125#
