75HP - No Spark

Hi new to the forum I have late 70s 75hp Chrysler has no spark new after market cd module and preamp stator lights up a test light but have nothing going to the coil any ideas what is wrong I have 12 volts going into the module

I suppose you have the beltdriven distributor CD ignition.
You have change the factory Magnapower CD module and the preamp to CDI aftermarket parts. Right?

Well if no spark at plugs check the HT wires at distributor cap.

To check the CD module and coil you set the #1 cylinder in TDC, diconnect coil from dist.cap , throttle at idle and disconnect White/black wire from distributor.
Turn ignition key to ON position, place the HT wire about 7/16 in from ground and then scratch the White/black wire to ground.
Each scratch the coil should give a spark.

Also check that you have a ground wire attached from distributor bracket to distributor housing and to engine ground.
Grease in the swivel will insulate.
