HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ACCELERATION. IDLES FINE AND LEFT IN NEUTRAL APPEARS TO TACH OUT FINE. CARB HAS BEEN REBUILT AND SET PROPERLY. ALSO NEW FUEL TANK, HOSES, BULB AND DIAPHRAGM FUEL PUMP. PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN YOU PUT IT IN FORWARD IT DOES NOT ACCELERATE TO HIGHER RPMS. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

Hi,

First, I would check for spark on both cylinders. It is possible that you are only hitting on one cylinder or that the second one is weak. Many times an engine will idle fine on a single cylinder but not perform when in gear. Also, check the compression on the engine if you haven't before.

Shane
