77 bayliner motor swap

Ive got a 18' bayliner with a volvo penta 130 and a 280 outdrive.the motor froze can I get another bigger motor or do i have to stay with the volvo?

as long as the engine bay and stringers have the room you can repower with almost anything up to 280 horse power.<br /> the late style SX transom shield/drive assy can be used if the transom is modified and the adaper shield is used<br /> good luck and keep posting
