I'm having an issue with my Evinrude Model: 115799S. I have spent a good amount getting it running right and has been for a while. This week it'll start up great, idle well, and get up and go easy with no hesitation. After running it hard it will not idle. Sputters and surges bad, constantly dying. Fires right up, sputters surges and dies again. If you let it cool down it'll idle again till it warms up again.
I have 105psi compression on each cylinder, carbs are rebuilt and cleaned with cleaner and air, new fuel pump, and fresh gas. New ignition coils, wires, and plugs. I had my rectifier go out so no charge or tac and everything since then there is a crackle and pop on the stereo while running and was charging at 16vs. I thought maybe the stator but the manual says terminals 7+8=630 +- 75 ohms mine is 645 and infinite when hooked to ground. The sensor coils 11.4 and 11.8 manual says 8.5 +- 2. Attached are pictures of the parts in question. I feel like it's gotta be either stator, timing base, or power pack just not sure which one? Any thoughts?
