77 Formula Thunderbird - Will 260 engine fit my old 235's bell housing? (351w)

Does the FORD 351 Windsor "260" engine fit the FORD 351 Windsor "235" bell housing?

The part number you're looking for is 0981350 / Adapter Housing. The one in your eBay post will not work - it's for later models. I think the 351 engine will be the same, but the adapter will be different. The 260HP OMC was a much later drive and the adapter is different for a '77.

Ok.. that's what I was thinking. And it looks like the 260 has the same trim system as my old one. I'm so confused at this point.

I don't think there was a 250HP OMC. At least not that old. Two different trim systems, and yours would likely be the jackscrew version. The other was a hydraulic system.
