77 merc 115 cranks but no fire at plugs

left key on 2 weeks,went to start no fire,wires to switch box were corroded.replaced wires and switch box,was melted on back but still no fire. dont have spare trigger switch to test coil and trigger switch. any suggestions!!!

Did you check the ignition switch? Kill switch too?<br /><br />Since you left the key on for that long, I'd test the rectifier also..
