78-84 Mercury 50hp 4cyl Carburetors Please Help

I need to rebuild both carbs and fuel pumps I have attached pictures of carbs on the side of the fuel pump it says they are tillotson 1364-4929 my biggest concern is the adjustment of the float I rebuilt them last year and I did not get the float ajusted right and had nothing but problems. I need to get these working right can someone walk me through the proccess of rebuilding these I have the service manual and I used that last year and had nothing but problems with getting the floats right

does anyone know the best way to ajust the float I seen someone say something about using a drill bit but I cant find the post now

does your manual have these 2 illustrations of how to adjust your carbs? I havent done the adjustment on my `82 merc 50hp because it is working good but this looks simple enough to do.
