78 35HP Evinrude - No spark - Following the testing procedures in the Clymer manual and got as far as the charge coil output test. FAILED! Step 6 says "replace the charge coil" BUT it appears to me stator, charge coil, ac coils, etc. are molded together with the stator. I'm getting depressed since this looks a big dollar thing. I already changed thepower pack. Anyone got any in ideas.
