78` merc,,broken wiring harness plug,,,,

i found the problem with the issue of not starting with the key , it had a wire or two broken off...now upon further inspection , i found that the wirinbg harness has a female connector broken out of it , its not making connection,,, so ill need to replace the plug and the recepticle,,,,does any one have any ideas? where to find,,,how much , is there any secrets in replacing,,any thing to watch out for? thank you in advance for the help

bossragz it is better if you stick with the same thread you started with so everyone is able to keep up with the problem and all that has been done toward correcting it. I will make a post in the original thread.
