After pulling the power head I am looking at replacing the rubber grommet that goes at the end of the water tube and goes to the hole in the power head. The old grommet looks different than a new one in that the old one has one side of the rubber grommet raised up so that it sort of extends up into a portion of the power head water hole. The new one is flush. Is this a big deal to go with a new grommet that is not exactly like the old or is it ok. I know that sometimes there have been re-designs between old and new but Im not sure if this is one of those times or do I have the wrong replacement part.

Hi ya' BRC....

Yeah...ya' got the right grommet. Just a design change. Worked for me.....lotsa' times! The flush seal prevents the grommet from eventually flopping in and not allowing the cooling water to get to the head. This was a problem in the original design.
