79 200 hp johnson spark

Can anybody tell me what the spark plug gap is on this 79 200 hp johnson motor with champion plugs ql77jc4,also when i put the primer solenoid lever in the automatic position the motor backfires,maybe gas leaking through.I just rebuilt it.Can anyone help please.Thanks everyone

The plug you are supposed to use is champion Q77v. They are the gapless style plug. If you want to use the other the gap would be .030

Actually, it's UL77V.
