79' Mckee Craft 17.5 weight ???

I just purchased this boat, and removed the 85 HP off and installed a used 150 HP. I am only spinning a 19 pitch prop to 4300 RPMs at 33 MPH and a 17 pitch prop 4900 RPMs at 37 MPH..I expected much better than this, was hoping to be able to put on a 23 or 21 pitch prop and spin over 5k RPM. I just weighed the boat and trailer, with the 150 evinrude (370 lbs), and the trailer, with the center console and 15 gallons of fuel, I got a total weight of 3060 LBS. this seem about 500lbs too heavy in my opinion. What should be the weight of my boat??

My 20 foot Wellcraft empty hull no motor 1950 lbs 150 Merc 375lbs trailer 650lbs 60 gallons of gas I bet yours is about right..........
