79 merc 120

I'm trying to hook up a buddys motor. It's a 79 Merc I/O 120. When they removed it they just unhooked all the wiring and didn't make any notes and now they've forgoten what goes where. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for one of these motors? I'm figuring the positive cable goes to the big screw on the starter but where does the neg go? There is another red thick wire with a rubber protector on it that runs from a solenoid looking thing that also needs to go some where. Any help would be great. Thanks

ground goes to bellhousing block screw/stud.

Hey that's great. Always good to see a pic. I see the starter solenoid has three red wires running too it. That takes care of the three big red wires I was wondering about. Thanks
