Hello all i have a 1979 srv 260 with the mercruiser 260 (350) v8 the motor was out when I bought the boat do to gimbal problems. I have that squared away and motor reinstalled however when i turn the key to start the engine i get nothing however there is a drop in voltage read by my voltage gauge on the dash i have checked the grounds but im not so sure on the rest of the wiring. Its possible i wired it wrong !!!!

so to my question i need a wiring diagram for my v8 for the starter and ignition or if possible the complete engine wiring diagram

i really appreciate all the input and help i believe my short is in the dash or in the run from engine to dash cause my engine will start fine without it plugged in and bridging the solenoid

so any wiring diagrams corresponding with any said issues would be appreciated
