79 styker floor

Im replaceing the floor in a 79 styker 17 foot bass boat. Can the whole top of the boat be taken off. Also need to replace stringers whats the best way to fasten back to old ones and does foam have to be put back down between each set of stringers.

big bad bomber <br />Yes you can seperate the top from the bottom<br />You have several options with the stringers <br />including pouring in new ones<br />Foam.. I would pour in as much as I could.<br />(leaving places for the water to flow to the<br />transom and let the pump take it out)<br /><br />Best advice is to go to the projects board here at iboats.
