Hello out there,<br /><br />I'm about to buy a supposedly hardly used (less than 1 hour) 4-stoke 8.8 hp Yamaha. I think it was either a 2003 or 2003. Do these motors have a good reputation? Is there something I should be looking for?<br /><br />Thanks
<br /><br />Both are excellent outboards.<br /><br />You really have no way of knowing if its actually been run just 1 hour. I've seen outboards with 300 hours on them that look brand spanking new.
