8 foot v-hull aluminium boat

Are these made anymore, or at least were ever made for that matter? I think aluminium would be a great material for a small aluminium dinghy to whip around the lake... with a v-hull as well to cut through the waves, and it would be fairly light too.

I see 10'ers all the time but 8 is a little small.

find a nice 10' rated for a 15 horse engine and it would fly.

One problem with a boat that small is it doesn't take alot of wake to get scary.
