8 hp 2 stroke

I have a 8 hp Yamaha tiller. Would like to set it up with controls. Do they make a kit? Also can anyone tell me how to find the year. I know its probably an older one. Found these on motor. But no date was stamped. Yamaha 8CM

Sorry didn't get a notice some one posted. Is there any way to tell the year and any info on this engine? If so how?
