Hi Just a quick question, do both sides of the cylinder head need to be flat? I’ve checked mine and the surface that mats to the block is flat however the cover side is not. It didn’t leak or anything before.
If you have resurfaced / checked it on a glass plate and it is flat you are good to go.-----The water jacket cover will bend a bit and will seal the water pressure.----Use a thin smear of gasket sealer on the cover.
