In an earlier thread I had issue with no spark. Got that problem fixed with charge coil. Now the engine fires right up, mind you I have the kill switch black and yellow wire disconnected, and when I turn the key off the engine still runs. Brand new key switch that was working fine. Any ideas what I did wrong?

The black/yellow wire is the kill circuit. It must be connected to the raised "M" terminal of the ignition switch in order for the ignition switch to shut the engine down.

I just disconnected it for testing for spark and does it connect to the coil which I think this one was when I disconnected it. Its connected in the ignition switch still. This was a tiller converted so it has both a starter and kill switch button on the motor
