What kind of depth finder? If it is an LCD graph you will not need another battery. With a standard car radio with small speakers and an LCD graph you can run on a 12 volt battery for about a year without draining it. If you are using a flasher type depth finder you will draw more current

Bobby,

If you're concerned about flattening the battery, check that the manual pull start rope is inside the cover of the engine. :D

Chris.........

Bobby; If you do run the radio & DF. off one batt. Do Not power it through the ign. circut ,run a power sorce direct from your batt.

Bobby,

You can pull them, the compression ratio is only about 6:1. I used to pull start a 150...

Chris.............
