'81 Merc 70 Rebuilt carbs, New coils,fuel pump, wires and plugs. I had it out 5 times this year and she was fine, on Sunday we were on our way back in at full throttle (5500 rpms) when the the rpms started fluctuating, it would drop about 300 and then come back up its a steady fluctuation. Got it home and tested it same thing out of the water. Its very slight at idle and more pronounced at higher rpms. Shes pumping water fine and the prop is in decent shape. Any ideas on what to look for? Thanks rjmotor.
