I have 82 DT85 which just recently started missing at high speed. I then took it out of the water and went out the next day only to have it start missing at low speed as well. Carbs were rebuilt last season by a Hack Named olsen in Racine, WI. Charged me way too much but I didn't have time. Well anyway, I've check for proper spark on all coils and replaced the diaphram because it was almost 15 years old. Went out yesterday.... same problem. Seems as thou its surges. It will kick in then out ect.. I've check for grounded wires and or loose connections as well,And compression is like new Any Ideas would be much appreciated.
