I just got my carb repair kit for my 7.5 evinrude 1982 moeel e8rcnr. Does anyone know the (start) position for the tiller handle? My markings are worn off the handle. I also need to know about the air/fuel knob. When I take the airbox intake off, I have to pull the knob off. It seems to screw in about 5 turns so I've backed it out about 2&1/2. Is that a good starting point? Last but not least, how do you get the recoil starter off correctly ? The nut one one side of the carb is behind it. I know the engine will run I'm just attempting to rebuild the carb. any replies and or pictures are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Keith
