82' johnson 9.9 slippage..

The motor and everything runs great,, but when I accelerate the "pivot gears" where the throttle is have broken teeth, and it slips.

I know I have to get a part, but my question is how do I remove them,, I took a quick look at it and was confused.

If anyone has any usefull information that would be great.
