The flywheel must have a key. It has sheared, and apparently sheared at very high speed maybee?<br />I remember having a West Bend (I was just a sprout backj then), that sheared the flywheel pin, and I couldn't hardly see the keyway. At any rate, I know for fact it's "big brother", the 115HP has a key and keyway,as does the 7.5, 9.9, 35, 50, 650,25 and 20.Don't know about any of the rest, because I never werked on any of the rest.<br /> <br />On disributorless ignitions, nothing else can throw the timing out by 90degrees like that, outside of plugging the switchbox in 90deg out.
